My technical contact at Yakima said they do not test their cargo boxes on the Thule Aeroblades, however, the Yakima RocketBox 14 will fit on Yakima Whispbars. The Aeroblade crossbars are 3-1/8 inches wide and the Whispbars are 3-5/8 inches wide, so you will be fine and the cargo box mounting hardware will fit your current crossbars. For your 2016 Subaru Outback I recommend the popular Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75673. This is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver so it will be compatible with your bike carrier. The factory Subaru hitch is a 1-1/4 inch and the problem it has is that the hitch pin hole is too close to the end of the receiver.
